Pro-boxing allowed to resume under MGCQ areas

There's a light of hope for Professional Boxing to restart in the Philippines.

Pro-boxing was now included by IATF to restart, subject to re-opening protocols being drafted, for the Department of Health (DOH) approval. Then, a Joint Administrative Order (JAO) between the Philippine Sports Commission (SC), Games and Amusement Board (GAB), and the Department of Health (DOH) will be signed to make it official.

GAB Chair Baham Mitra said that fights may be allowed only under MGCQ areas starting in August 2020.

MGCQ which means Modified General Community Quarantine is a low-risk classification.
