In the co-feature of the night, Keith Thurman (24-0, 21 KO's) keeps his undefeated record intact on Saturday night on Showtime against then undefeated Leonard Bundu (31-1-2 , 11 KO's) at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Actually I patiently waited for the knockout to come. But Thurman failed to deliver that leads to the fight fans frustration present at the venue and turned cheers into boos half way to fight. I thought it would be a short night as Thurman scored a knockdown around 2:10 mark in the very first round. He sent Bundu down with a hard left hook. But the knockout that fans love about Thurman did not come, as he boxed around to outpoint Bundu with ease.

For me, it seemed that Thurman has been exposed a little bit of his weaknesses as an exciting fighter. He became extremely cautious and not letting his powerful hands go against unorthodox opponent who does well on shifting from left to right stance but with very limited punch output at age 40.

But a win is win.

"You can not knock everybody out...'" said Thurman.

the official scores were 120-107 on all three judges for Thurman's shutout victory.

But Thurman proved tonight that he can win easily using his boxing skills. He used distance and movement around the ring trying to evade counter punches.
