Pacquiao: If the Mayweather fight happens, I can retire

During the ABS-CBN TV patrol news on Wednesday, Filipino boxing icon, Manny Paquiao admitted to Anthony Taberna, host of ABS CBN program, "Tapatan ni Tunying" that he's still wanted to fight until the age of 37. He also said that, if the fight with undefeated, American Floyd Mayweather Jr., will finally happen, he will retire after.
"Pag mangyayari ang laban na yon, puwede na akong mag retire. Iyon na lang ang inaantay ko eh!" Pacquiao told Taberna in Filipino.

Pacquiao also told Taberna that he has around five more fights left, including the Algieri fight. Taberna ask if until when he will fight, Pacquiao said that he can still fight until 37.
"Hanggang 37 siguro kaya ko pa." said Pacquaio.

Pacquiao is slated to fight 5'10" Chris Algieri of New York when he returns to the ring this coming November in Macau, China.

Pacquiao has avenged his loss to former undefeated Timothy Bradley Jr. in his previous fight, while Algieri earned the slot fighting the Filipino superstar by defeating hard hitting Ruslan Provodnikov in June.
